Our Success Stories
SUGAR
Sugar is a 7 month old deaf
white female pup who was surrendered by her owner. She is smart, smart
smart and even smarter when you are not looking :) When she got bored
at her foster home, she would jump the fence to explore...trouble enough
when you are a dog...BIG TROUBLE if you are a deaf dog!!! We needed a
special home for Sugar and boy oh boy...were the boxer angels looking
out for this one.
We were contacted by a great
family who said they instantly fell in love with Sugar the first time
they laid eyes on her picture. After meeting them and their young Boxer
Stetson, we knew this was a match made in heaven. The youngest daughter
in the family had already started to learn signs to help her communicate
with Sugar. This family also moved mountains of dirt, literally, to get
their fence completed and yard ready for Sugar's arrival. Everyone seems
to be settling in and doing well!!!
