Our Success Stories
Stella
Was approximately 10 weeks old when
she came to rescue. She
had already been in foster care with the Nebraska Humane Society
since she was approximately four weeks old. Stella was found in the
bottom of a trash can at the tender age of four weeks, covered with
paint. She was very thin and dehydrated and was put immediately into foster care by the Nebraska
Humane Society. The woman who
fostered her for the NHS wanted to adopt her, but unfortunately, she
was unable to, so NHS called Boxer Rescue. Stella was put into a
foster home where she flourished and made everyone laugh at her
silly puppy antics!! She even taught an older rescue Boxer at the foster
home, who had seen some very hard times and was not real friendly with
other dogs, how to play again.Stella was adopted by a young family with two small daughters. She isthe apple of their eye and growing like a weed!!!
Stella made such an impact on her
family that they decoded to add
another boxer to their family...Axle.
