Our Success Stories
PUGSLEY
Pugsley, a deaf white
boxer boy, was under two years of age when he came to rescue. Pugsley came to
us through the assistance of the shelter in York, NE. He was confiscated for
neglect. He had been left, tied outside with no shelter and a bowl of moss covered
water. No one had been at the home for a week. We were fortunate enough to bring
him quickly into rescue. He was adopted by a family who had a rescue from us
previously and he seemed to be living harmoniously until recently. He decided
that the great big world on the other side of the fence interested him way more
than his companions and own yard. In other words, he began jumping the fence.
His family did not have the time or energy to work with this and he has been
returned to rescue.
Through the assistance
of Black
Hills Boxer Rescue in Rapid City, SD., he was placed to be fostered in a
very loving and dedicated family in South Dakota. Well...as luck would have
it...his foster family worked so diligently with him and the devotion was returned...Pugsley
was adopted by his foster family!!! We couldn't be happier!
We greatly appreciate
the help we received from S.D. with this special boy!!!
