Our Success Stories
Max
This skinny boy comes
to us from a Kansas shelter. He was skinny and needed LOTS of TLC to realize
that life with humans can be a positive thing. The shelter stated that
he was very timid, especially around men and really needed some confidence
building. After some time in a great foster home, Max really started to
come out of his shell. His timidity turned into normal Boxer curiosity
and playfulness, and he became very attached to his "foster dad"...followed
him everywhere!
His foster family felt that
since Max bonded so well with his Foster dad that he would really thrive
in a home with a single gentleman, where he and Max could be BUDS! This
couldn't have been more accurate!!!! Max was adopted by a soft spoken gentleman.
He now lives a happy life of walks around the neighborhood, romps in the
yard and occasional trips to the walking path. He has done well with Mark's
daughter when she comes to visit and all seem totally content and happy!!!
